We were celebrating our anniversary, made an appointment here for our couples massage. It's was amazing. I was a little hesitant about them massaging my calves, only because if they had the wrong pressure I would cramp so badly. BUT! I will say they did a really good job and my legs feel fantastic. They found the knots immediately. Very good at communicating, making sure it wasn't too much pressure. Relaxing and the atmosphere was perfect. We will going back. The price isn't bad either.
I travel for work, and have been getting Thai massages for 20 years. This is literally the top Thai massage place I have even been to! Professional and attentions to my specific needs. Each time I went I asked for specific areas focused on and that’s exactly what I got. I also tried the two masseuse massage for 1.5 hrs and was the best experience I ever had. I need hard deep massages, and am used to the masseuse getting lazy half way through but these lady’s were strong and super technical they do walking on back and all the amazing stretches only experienced Thai Massage therapists know. Highly recommend the massage was only $70 per hour One of the best prices I have seen around the world for actual quality work. I generally pay more than $100 per hour in LA and Vegas for massage at this level. Truly a gem in Reno!
When it comes to Traditional Thai Massage, I am use to getting body work on a large mat on the floor, the option to wear loose clothing like yoga attire or their loose fitting thai garment to get the full use of stretching assist during the massage, witch I take advantage of and with little or no oil. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Thai massage therapist in Reno. Although, there isn’t any mats to get massaged on the floor. There is options to wear their garments or your own under garment for traditional Thai massage . My therapist was very professional, therapeutic and the location/office is very safe and clean for women like myself. I recommend making appointment as she does not take walk-ins. It’s worth going for 90-120mins. I will definitely come back and let my friends and family know about this place. By the way…. I’ve been getting Traditional Thai Massage for over 20 yrs. If you’re at a high level yoga practice, dancer, athlete like avid hiker/rock climber, snowboard, cycling, swimmer and more….like me, thai massage style of massage is one of the best.
I’ve never had a Thai massage before — this was quite the experience! Mainly because Boon is an incredibly strong woman who truly believes in wellness. She was thorough, patient (with my inflexible body 😆), and informative. For those of you who haven’t experienced a true Thai massage, this is more of a therapeutic massage. If you’re willing to breathe through the healing pressure and stretches, you’ll come out feeling like a new person — just know you might be sore the next day! I don’t know how else to describe my experience except I can say that I am looking forward to my next session with Boon!!
This truly was one of the best massages I've ever received coming from both New York City and now living in Reno. It's a combination of acupuncture, chiropractor, and a massage.
